PHEA MEET: Christmas Nosh - Sunday 10th December

Good evening everyone,

We're now heading in to the depths of winter, but that doesn't mean the fun will cease: It's time for our annual Christmas get together

This year the Final Meet will take place on Sunday 10th December, when we'll be heading for the Elveden Inn near Thetford - MAP LINK HERE

We shall meet at the venue at 12:30pm for 1pm sit down.

I booked 20 people, so be quick to avoid disappointment. Children will count towards the overall total, so please include your little'uns on the list below if they would like to come too

This year's meal is priced at £19.99 for 2 courses and £25.95 for 3 courses.
I have paid £10 per head, payable to me on the day, please. The rest then goes to the pub

Being Christmas, the pub have requested a preorder, so please can you include this when adding yourself to The List below; thank you.

Below is listed this year's menu said:

To Start:

• Spiced Parsnip soup with crusty bread
• Blythburgh Pork and gammon terrine with ratatouille relish and Melba toast
• Smoked mackerel and pancake pate served with chive and garlic creme fraiche and toasted sour dough
• Bakes goats cheese and beetroot chestnut bake

For Mains:

• Roast Norfolk Turkey, Cranberry and chestnut leg ballotine served with pig in blanket, goose fat roasted potatoes and honey roast carrots and parsnips
• Beef and venison stew with horseradish dumplings and creamed leeks
• Baked hake fillet with parsley crumb served with leek and pearl barley risotto
• Binham blue and butternut roast served with sweet potato wedges, red pepper sauce and cauliflower cheese

Desserts:

• Traditional Christmas pudding with Brandy sauce
• White chocolate and Baileys cheesecake with vanilla ice cream
• Caramelised apple and minded meat strudel with custard
• Norfolk and Suffolk cheeses with Elveden chutney and oat cakes

Nick Adams (ex Lotus) always maintained the best fun to be had was an Elise in the snow!
