Unfortunately I'll just be coming as a passenger in Teh92's GTI on the day instead of bringing my focus. Focus is going up for sale soon instead!

I might have had my arm twisted, so we'll see 😂

It's only a MK1 Focus Estate, but the engine feels really strong, so I'd be interested in the torque figure 😂

I'll probably be there at 10:30 or so. Going to get loaded up tonight (trailer queen) but have a 5k run on Saturday morning so I'll come along just as soon as that's done.
Eddy, save me some bacon biggrin:

I’ll be there bright and early, forms done and submitted.

Without meaning to start a whole chain of responses (yes I did read the OP), I really need to be done and away by lunchtime ish, if it’s not going to cause anyone any issues. Hoping that by being there early I can be in the top 5 or 6 cars to run??

Looking forward to it.

Cheers,
Mav

Thank you to everyone who braved the cold - and at times wintry - weather to join us for another successful Rolling Road Day thumbup

16 cars took the rollers to see how much power and torque they were producing.
Plenty of you stayed around to spectate, with even a couple of extra folk dropping by simply to watch the action.
It was pleasure to meet a couple of new members and catch up the regular faces smile

My highlight was sitting in the back of the mad diesel Merc to weigh down the rear: An old E-Class with over 400bhp and 500ft lb torque was a wonder to watch!

I was happy with the Audi's 386bhp peak on it's first Run so it hasn't lost too many horses since it's last day on the dyno biggrin

Thank you to Clive Atthowe for hosting us thumbup
Thank you also to Eddy, Rebecca and Scott for keeping us fed and watered.

Once uploaded, I'll link my to snaps here.

I hope to see you all again soon!

Thanks to Darren and Eddie for organising this, great to meet you both and infact everyone else who were all great fun and kind about my old merc 300D!!

Shes nearly 30 years old and doing it disgracefuly too with a throughly dirty 470bhp and 561ft/lbs.

PS - (Very impressed Darren, rumbled her by spotting the 160mph speedo and 7k tach - not standard 300D fitment.)

As above, big thanks to Darren, Eddie, and Clive for putting this on. I was really happy with the crusty focus!

I've got plenty of photos so I'll upload them to an imgur album and share it here later smile

Thanks for adding those - really enjoyed reliving the day.

Bit of an update on the old Merc - took her to a standing start to 1 mile top speed event at Elvington Runway - recorded 184.1mph - beating a R35 GTR!
