I’m looking for recommendations for a company to take my 7 spoke alloys with tyres on, totally strip back to metal, refinish to a good standard, then re-fit/balance the tyres. Also I believe one wheel has a slight buckle which would need addressing at the same time. Recommendations would be appreciated. Tia

SW-Alloys on Whiffler Road in Norwich are my go-to place. I badly damaged two of my Work wheels and they repaired and painted them in no time.

Unsure of your location but I’m in the alloy refurb game so have dealt with many companies around the region.

Sadly unable to help myself as we are so mental busy , we are concentrating on our trade customers, sorry.

Both companies suggested already are good

Just Wheel Repair in Halstead

Rolling Rims in Great Dunmow

Wheelboss in Sible Hedingham

Alloy Logic in Braintree

Andrews Alloys from Haverhill

Hope this helps a bit, do have a list of “Keep away froms” but that’s not for me to post.

Thanks for the answers so far, I'm near Ely, Cambs. But I'm not bothered distance wise where to take them as long as they do a good job, they're my aston wheels so I want top notch if possible, John

BA wheels recently repainted by diamond cut wheels that I really did not like to a nice gloss black.

They did a great job of the painting - in fact perfect I would say. The balancing not so good, anything above 85 mph and there is slight wheel wobble so I will either take it back to them to take a look or get them balanced elsewhere.

If you drop your wheels off, they can pretty much get you in anytime and take a couple days to paint them. If dropping your car off then it will be a longer wait.

Thanks for that, shame about the balancing! Funnily enough one of the reasons I want a re-furb was I had a set of PS4S's fitted and when they removed some old weights it pulled off a chunk of paint with it!
