Was posted on a Clio forum I'm in earlier today. Still no root cause yet, as it wasn't the owner who posted the pic. People think it's either a money shift or the clutch let go.

Either way explain the 300m of oil dry powder down the Bentley straight!

Does anyone know any more about the silver BMW E46 with the wing and slicks on Thursday evening? It looked like one of the fastest E46's I have ever seen.

Did it have black chequered down the side? And a sniff my diff sticker on the bumper?
If so, it most likely will have been Malcolm Buck. Very fast M3!

Pretty sure no cage and on slicks - which I thought was a no no these days but it was bloody quick - in fact all the M3's were rapid

The white one was by far the quickest, but you are right there was also a blue E36 M3 that was quick also. That white one must of been doing under 2m 10s laps which is 911 GT3 pace.

I am back for more on the evening 11th May, anyone else?

Only saw the photographer once during the whole evening and at the time I saw him I was having a "moment"
