Yeah i've used them a few times, i think my wheels are made of plasticine and if u blow on them they chip, they've always done a good job for me.

Are they quite expensive? Hard to answer really depending on how bad/big they are!

Its normally been about 75GBP for deep chips and long scratches.

Just sent my third set of wheels off to them.

Excellent service.

They collect and deliver to your home.

If they're chipping that easily, then could it not be that they have been repaired poorly?

I have had a few wheels done personally and sent quite a few through professionally to most of the places in Norwich and can say the best I found to be B A Wheels in Norwich.

http://www.ba-wheels.co.uk/

As a detailer, I found BA Wheels to give a high quality finish that lasted longer than the rest without me having to do a bit of refinishing afterwards as with others.

HTH..

I was at B A wheels on Friday. They seemed to be pretty knowledgable, but I was slightly put off by the lack of colours they had. (didn't seem to have the correct colour of my curent rims, although I would have all 4 done so getting them to match wouldn't be an issue)
Seemed pleasant enough guys to deal with, and they do powder coat the wheels, so may help with longevity.

I finally decided to go with these guys http://www.wheelrevivers.co.uk/ out at Hoveton (they do spray and laquer them, followed by baking), but haven't been recomneded them, so hope they're ok. Seemed a decent set up though.

Also did me a great deal on tyres at the same time (matched tyre-traders.com) as they're down to 3mm, so will need replacing soon anyway

It is a common fault with TVR spiders, it's well documented. I'll give B A Wheels a try next time though, thanks for the info.

If you dont mind being without the wheels for a week then there is Lepsons....the best place I have found when the wheels can be sent away. Obviously not ideal for the daily.

I took my old S3 wheels to Lepsons. Left the car there for 3 days and go tthe train home (return journey off peak cost £36 from memory)

Really great service and top notch job. They matched 3 wheels and it cost £210 for the finish in my 18" RS TT alloys (black silver or something it was called). No one round here could sort them out back to original finish, thus why I went there.

Very professional, apart from the fact a memeber of staff had just drifted/power slid his Impreza Type R into t customer cars when I went to collect mine......whoops.

Another vote for New Image, here.

[b]12 Garden St
Norwich, NR1 1QU

It's around £65+VAT for a powder coat refurb. My AMG wheels had a diamond cut edge, which came to around £120 per corner, but the result is fantastic.

Use New Image..

have used them on many occassions as have two of my colleagues on cars ranging from a Golf to an R8 - always professional, helpful and not too expensive.

Definately worth giving them a try, i wouldnt use anyone else.
