Have seen a blue st220 a black one and a silver one all around the Acle and Great Yarmouth area in the last few days. I also saw them speed gunning on the a12 between Gorleston and Hopton yesterday.

Mondeo ST220 0-60 in 6.8sec and limited to 151mph. It has traction control so if the plod nail it the power will just wind back.

Plus they seem to be getting a bit "lardy" - must be all that protective clothing; got to be worth half a second though - LOL
protective clothing! More like Macky Ds!

Dont forget that if you are pulled over by a plod car the first question to ask is" when was your speed monitoring equipment last checked for accuracy" and ask to see the log book which they must carry and show when requested. If it was not checked that morning the chances are they would not issue a ticket.

Here's a great tip. On the A1 in Cambridgeshire I was doing 70 when a Police car overtook me and I caught up with it later at a petrol station. I asked the driver what the speed limit was on that road he said "Seventy". So I pointed out to him that according to my GPS system I was doing seventy when he over took me and asked for his number as he was not in an active persuit or responding to a call so he should not have been breaking the speed limit at all. The officers response to that was "somtimes it is neccessary for the for a Police car to exceed the speed limit under normal operations". I then made a point that the Police are there to enforce a set standard of driving and as such should set that standard. There is no point setting a standard if it is a double standard. He would be commiting an act of Pergery every time he gave evidence in court for a motoring offence. Poor guy got properly wound up. Especially when a traffic car turned up. Lol

Not all unmarked cars are POLICE cars... just let that sink in. There’s more than one emergency service

And not all unmarked cars belong to the emergency services. Some could be you, or I, just minding our own business. Just let that one sink in for a moment...
Anyway, I doubt the trafpol are still running around in their 54 plate Mondeo, 10 years on.
