A146 turn off into hales, then blast through there to haddiscoe.
If you havn't done it before, its worth having a go. You can thank me afterwards
Used to be on my drive to school every day! A good firend lives in Toft Monks so I am often over that way. Great fun in a RR Sport by the way!If you havn't done it before, its worth having a go. You can thank me afterwards

B1098. God that road scares me. Dead straight, bumpy as hell and a bloody great dyke right next to it. Not good if you have rock hard suspension.
But great if you have nerves of steeland a forty four year old suspension tweaked with modern add-ons
try it in a flighty breathed on Midget
I use that road to get into East Angular for the Marham track days
talk about rock and roll
I love it
(Bill wonders whether "sixteen foot drain" refers to across...or down!)
whooohoo!
I know its a bit out of the way, but a great road (slightly out of the area) is just off the A47 in Uppingham - it runs to Mkt Har. The B664. Anyone that has to travel to the midland via A14, suggest they take that road rather than P'bo to A14, its 13 miles of brilliant roads and is pretty much always emtpty.
Dead straight then a sequence of bends, the A1101 is twisty as well and Queen Adailade is legendary that circuit is a good all round test of a driver without needing to go over the speed limit. If the Stonea underpass isn't flooded and you can get air coming out of it then you either have a very quick car or a bike.
P.S According to the Police the B1098 is the most dangerous road in Cambridgeshire and the A1101 is the second most dangerous in Norfolk. A prize for who knows the most dangerous (fun) road in Norfolk.

+1 for the B1145 from Bawdeswell to Kings Lynn, a great alternative to the A47 from Norwich if your in the right car and can spare the time (It's probably quicker sometimes).
Correct the B1145 is the most dangerous (fun) road in Norfolk. Take the B1145 towards Norwich then take the Reepham road to the A148 stop at Sunny Hunny and take the A149 back to (or the old road through the villages and stop at Sandringham just to annoy the caravaners, usually about a hundred of us on bikes for that one) King's Lynn. The surface of the B1145 is better than the A47 in (most) places. Also hit the A47 to Norwich and take the B1145 back it's a brilliant circuit Hardwick to Hospital roundabouts in about an hour and a half best 100 mile run I can think of. Fast dual carridge ways and country lanes really dial in the car or bikes set up and the burger van outside Swaffham is excelent.
