Cool. I spotted the FMIC on the way by.Next time I have to go there I'll join in the little JDM parking section They have some good stuff at that particular place of work.
Pulled out from the Woodbridge Shell garages behind a lovely red Porsche Carrera GT today and followed it down the A12 towards London. (Reg ended in URB)
First time I'd seen one properly on the roads, and the Presence, Speed and Noise made me feel like I was driving a Nissan Micra in comparison!

I was taking the R8 down to AMD tuning to have a carbon clean done on the intake. Seeing (and hearing) the Carrera GT definitely made the journey much more enjoyable. The noise as you were downshifting when slowing for the roundabouts just put a massive smile on my face.
The journey back in the courtesy car they gave me was slightly less enjoyable, and I 'may' even have struggled to keep up with you...

Now that is a stunning car. I bet you'd be happy if they take their time on the R8!
Is the R8 manual or paddles? Friend of mine had a manual and loved it. I owned the new gen V10 plus for a while, stonking car though I didn't gel with the adaptive steering it had.
My spots today. Mclaren Hasketon towards Woodbridge, 4 x Abarths, (they are breeding like rabbits!!). a gaggle of TVRs in Aldeburgh, Loads of cars on a run A12 Woodbridge northbound incl Astons, BMWs, an Abarth, orange Lotus, etc, etc. Had I not been in convoy with Muttley, who was on his motorbike I would have joined them at the RAB.
Later we swopped vehicles and went to Aldeburgh on on the way there saw 2 Lotus 7s, the orange Lotus and many other cars that had been on the run.
Grrrr I would have loved to have been on that run on such a lovely day.
