NZTA are a bunch of backwards-thinking morons stuck in the 1950s.

Once again, instead of them and the govt pulling their finger out and upgrading the road network to a modern first-world standard, they decide on the cheap easy option. Sadly, nothing will change.

Bunch of losers. I won't miss driving here when I go back to UK for good at the end of the year.

They point to the head-on crash in April which wiped out two families, yet conveniently forget to mention that was caused by the father high on synthetic cannabis crossing the centre line... rolleyes

Just got back from UK ( ex Britt) , so happy to back on NZ roads, the wonderful open roads in NZ that are not full of pot holes and speed bumps , UK driving is generally a stressful nightmare these days

A44RON, things will never change here in NZ, its 2019 and people still drive with no seatbelts and get themselves or their passengers killed.

No point in spending billions on the roads if the drivers are so stupid.
