I seem to remember that was the only car that outsprinted the Fraster on that Meremere Day of 2-or-so years back (but of course Dean was absent in the Londa, which would prob have run 12s)
That's the one... 13.01 seconds I believe....Dean's car would have been knocking on the door of 11s Mine will run 12s all day now... or at least it will when it's back in one piece (don't hold your breaths )

Hi Steve, welcome to PH NZ. Nice collecti on of pics in your profile - is that your garage past or present? Any of these in NZ with you?
My current garage Omerta.....soon, if I'm lucky, to be transported to NZ Checked the costs and it makes sense to transport bothe the v8 and ML.Edited by Omerta on Sunday 12th October 04:26
Having 3 weeks to look around, staying at the Hilton until tomorrow where I'll be moving over to the Esplanade in Devonport until the wife and kids arrive....then back to the Hilton. Plan to spend a week touring towards the end of next week in a campervan but certainly looking at either Whitford or Coatesville to buy if/when we move permanently.
Any other Astons running about? I know theres a dealership somewhere in Auckland, might be worth my while in popping in and having a chat.

Hi Steve welcome aboard! Either spots where yr planning to locate are very nice, you will be well pleased
Keep an eye on here as from time to time we do some PH runs and we are well overdue for one!
Thanks Kylie, will do. I noticed that you own an Esprit....I have a serious soft spot for them having owned the Turbo HC back in 87/88. Seems there are a number of cars originating from the UK here....with any luck, there will be another one ) Keep an eye on here as from time to time we do some PH runs and we are well overdue for one!

p.s. nice art work Kylie....if we make it over here, I may be in touch
Oh you need to get another then and bring one with you, for the prices of what Esprits are going for at the moment over there you would be mad not to. There are no hurdles importing these beasties - yet!?!
There are heaps of Astons here now so youll have no trouble finding one. I am not sure about their club scene/get togethers sorry.
The Lotus club scene here is quite a good one considering the smaller numbers of that in UK but you can see my other thread of what we are up to at the moment. Alpine tour. Plenty of events and friendly people. Theres a small following of TVR here as well. Check the other threads on import restrictions for TVR though.
