Not in Essex or London but North Kent about 10 minutes from the M25 junction 3, Wheelz Tech in Button street Swanley Village 07936015578.
I've had wheels done here and can recommend them.

Had a set of VW BBSs done at "Paint It UK" in Billericay. Straightened, repaired, stripped, powder-coated.

Probably not the cheapest but a really great job.

Another vote for Paintituk from me. I had a set of four Lexus wheels done by them a couple of years ago and they still look good. Tyres removed, wheels fully stripped and overall a great service.

They kept the car on site for me for a few days, as I was away on holiday after dropping it off. They had several more exotic vehicles there too. Well worth a look imho.

Best Regards

Late to the party, but Paint It did a very good job on my BMW's wheels and they still look fine over a year later.

Another late reply !

Ultimate Alloys in Wickford did a very poor job for me. Dirt in the coating on all four, scratch on the rear rim hidden by black sealant, wheels balanced with the cheap Fe wheel weights that go rusty, some wheels 'balanced' with weights all over the place. Failed to deliver on the day promised twice. Pitting still on wheels under new powder coat, fisheyes in powder coat. Don't be fooled by the immaculate wheels in their office.

Bump for this one.

Has anyone any other recommendations for wheel refurb/paint?

Cheers.

Depends on what state they're in. Oakdene Autos (basildon) did a cracking job on my SLK alloys but they weren't scuffed to pieces

Cheers. Wheels are 30 odd years old but in good shape as the car doesn't get much use.

I'm in billericay so happy for you to look at the alloys and see if you like the standard of work
