Was it that the best choice of name you could come up with when the BHP Perfomance Show is already an established brand/event?

No need for that.
The bloke lost his wife and is aiming to raise thousands for charity.

Please show me where my post says that this is not a worthy cause?
Charitable endeavours deserve every bit of support they can get.

My only comment was on the name of the show and how it bears a striking similarity to one that is already well established.
Maybe it's because Lydden Hill is almost on my doorstep and any reference to the BHP show is made with regards to the one at Lydden Hill?
It would be like calling it Southern Car Fest when there is CarFest South or The Speed Festival when you have the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

regrettably I can't make this - but best of luck both for the (worthy) cause and the considerable amount of effort you've put in
