A mate is selling an SLK which has minor grazing to the wheels. Not diamond cut, just silver painted.
He is at Maidstone, I know that Lepsons are excellent but as this is a car for resale is there anywhere good but cheaper

Based in Tonbridge. Good but not cheap either.

If you want cheap and cheerful to pass the 6ft test, then DIY with some wet & dry and spray paint.

Rimtech in Meopham are really good, very genuine, they found one of my wheels had been badly welded in the past and let me know when they found it rather than just cracked on and charged me for the work. have also used Inspraytion in Rochester and they did a good job.

Lepsons are another world with their pricing. And for that cost I've had a few wheels back with glaring inclusions and been asked: "We can do them again..." That left me wondering if it was worth using them. For the prices they charge I want perfect.

I've been using McNealy Brown that another PH recommended: http://www.powdercoating.express/ They are in Sittingbourne. Cost last time I used then was £50 including refitting and balancing the wheel and the finish was better than Lepsons. I think I'm on the 8th wheel redone by them. For £50 the finish is excellent.

I have used one of the mobile services who come to your house in a van (in Kent). I can't find the details for him just now, it's been a long time, but this guy did a decent job and wasn't too pricey. Definitely more than good enough for a resale job, he was able to do my Monaro wheels onsite which were shadow chrome. I'll try and find his details, his name is Eddie (although I realise that's not much use on it's own!). I've recommended him on here before - if only we had a useable search function!

Body and Wheels in Westgate are who I use. Good prices and great quality, I had wheels repainted and were still great when I sold the car 3 yrs later. (apart form a few little curb kisses from me)

After seeing several recommendations for McNealy Brown I gave them a go. My alloys were in desperate need of a refurb. I went for a different colour and I'm so happy with the outcome 😍

Sorry to resurrect the thread but I am based in Surrey and was going to use Lepsons, but remembered I had a bad experience with some CSL wheels a few years back.

Will contact McNealy but wondered if anyone had a recommendation in Surrey also ? Will post in the Surrey section but just thought I would mention here as I’m about to try McNealy.

After a few months of wear on my wheels done by McNealy, I had another set of wheels on another car done by Fusion Wheels https://fusionwheels.tech/

Fusion were recommended by the paint shop I use and moving forward, I'd be taking all my wheels to Fusion if I still lived in Kent. A bit more money, but well worth the extra.

Sticks.

I was talking to a wheel repair shop owner who said he's put right a lot of Spit 'n' Polish's work. Not tried them myself.

Has anyone been here? https://www.jdrims.co.uk/ I need diamond cut repairs.

Heard of a few using Inspraytion on the Medway City Rochester. I will give them a try after using some others mentioned on this thread.

Had a couple of wheels done by inspraytion, just Honda wheels off my daily that had started to corrode round the edges, nothing special but they did a good job and the finish is holding up well.

Only issue was they almost lost the nearly new tyre off one of the wheels and took some convincing that the wheel had been dropped off with a tyre on but after some searching it turned up.
