Damn I would have been up for this, but I'm actually in the Peak District that weekend picking up a very PH - worthy car if all goes well.

How about a Kent-based folk Christmas drive and lunch nearer the time?
Trading the FK8 in for another Megane? biggrin Potentially sounds good to me to try and do something festive in December too.
No, due to an unexpected and hugely welcome turn of events I am indeed keeping the FK8. I am turning back the clock a few years and if all goes well, will revisit something that always held a special place in my heart. Don't want to jinx anything so playing it coy smile

Good luck with the drive, hope the weather is kind and the breakfast/lunch is fat!

Thanks Speed Badger, good luck with the new acquisition. Hope to see it on a future run!

Loads of room across from the Old Lighthouse - https://goo.gl/maps/Xxc978UEidFGY34m7 - it makes for a cool backdrop in pics as well.
There's no easy way to do both the Military Road and Dungeness though without a big increase in the distance and duration of the run.

Thanks Red Devil, really appreciate your advice. I think we'll skip Dungeness this time and head for the hub to keep the run time a bit shorter.

Bugger would have loved to join this - but swapped my Audi S3 for a 2,2 ton SUV (still got a bit of a poke however x3 M40i). . If I may pop down, be tail end Charlie ? And if pace too much can drop off ?

Been on a few of Red Devils “ahem”spirited drives in the Audi - great fun, and usually a great breakfast at the garden centre we went to.

I'm afraid I'm out tomorrow, went to see a fireworks display and ended up in a nice restaurant and we're the wrong side of 2 bottles of very nice wine now, so won't be able to drive tomorrow...

Firstly - a huge thank you to Ben - a brilliant route, and excellent guiding/leading etc.

Secondly - what a great bunch to head out with.

I need to play around with the drone photos - colours way off/look over exposed - once done will post up.

cheers,

Such is the level of Ben's commitment to the cause, I caught this unguarded moment of him worshipping the cars...
