If the weather is pants then a Spa Day at Eastwell Manor just outside Ashford is a good way to win some brownie points.
biggrin whenever I’m considering an expensive car related expense I take my wife there for Afternoon tea.

I think a trip to Margate while we’re there is on the cards. Our there any good driving roads or car things to do around the area?
Drove around the area a little while ago, pretty uninspiring really.

There’s always Karting. (This is a car forum)

All the closer tourist attractions seem to have been noted, but If you like puzzles, most towns have an escape room of some sort or another, if you just needed a break from the in-laws.

Best not to mention Ashford designer outlets as that will be bonkers busy in December.

Whitstable is a lovely seaside town and famous for fresh Oysters - short drive from Canterbury or you could cycle the 7miles using the Crab and Winkle Way. Lovely ride on a nice day with most of it on tracks through the woods.

You could drive up to Reculver for the castle and a seaside walk, Turner Gallery and some old style fairground rides at Dreamland in Margate, Broadstairs is a lovely old seaside resort. So much to do!
