I spied our very own Brad in his orange 650S this morning on the A130 Canvey Way.
Had you taken a wrong turning at Sadlers Farm?
I had too, I bloody had! I thought I could go off left there but I had to go straight down the Canvey bloody Way! You are remarkably perceptive.Had you taken a wrong turning at Sadlers Farm?
Came back around through Benfleet cos I felt too silly to go around the roundabout and back the way I came!
Odd that I would be spotted then, it was my last ever drive in the car, I was taking it in to be prepped and sold, I'm back home now with the plates and my bits and bobs.
Were you going in the same direction or did we pass?
A quick edit. It's even more odd as the only other time that car has appeared in this thread was the day I picked it up, Phil saw me coming through Wickford before I'd even got it home. I drove the bugger 18 thousand miles in between those two spots! I must have been cloaked!

I was going the other way on my way to work. I've always kept an eye out for your motor as I've always been a fan of your car & guitar jaunts. I'm glad I got to see it before it disappeared.
I am surprised it's not featured on this thread more, considering you're not shy of sticking the miles on it.
What are you going to replace it with?

Ha ha ha! That's so funny! Don't worry, you are not alone in making that mistake. At least you didn't do what a Transit driver did in front of me one day, which was stop, and perform a three-point-turn in the road

Great that you enjoy my useless travel blogs, thanks for that mate it's appreciated. They actually take a lot more effort to keep going than you might think so any feedback is welcome.
I'm surprised it didn't get spotted more often too, it's not exactly subtle!
I'm all for getting miles on my cars, will never understand the "buy it then look at it" mentality I see on Supercar forums so often. It takes a lifetime of graft to earn these things so why on earth wouldn't you enjoy them at every opportunity?
Got a 720S coming in March.

Oh, and just out of interest, where your you dropping the 650S off? I can't think of anywhere round those parts that deals in that sort of thing?

I was taking it to Alistair Boles but decided to have a run down to Southend for old times sake before heading off to Chelmsford.
I got my last 3 points for speeding on Southend sea front so it holds a special place in my heart.
Ah, good old Saaafend seafront. I spent far too much time down there as a kid. I got my last 3 points for speeding on Southend sea front so it holds a special place in my heart.
Still can't work out how you ended up on Canvey way. You're from Wickford/Billericay area aren't you? You didn't even need to come off the A127! Obviously The Rock was too much of a lure .
You should return when you've got the 720S - I'm sure the locals will think an alien spaceship has landed

I saw it too, only just around the corner from your place as it happened!Vroom101 said:

I'd gone out early and been to the Cleanpark in Pitsea, then thought I could go over the flyover and left up towards Tarpots, I clearly didn't engage my brain! You're certainly not the only one to make that mistake. I use the Sadlers junction all the time and think the layout is abysmal. If you don't know where you're going when coming from the direction of Pitsea, you can easily end up somewhere completely different from where you want to be (as you found out ).So what car do we have to keep an eye out for now the 650S has gone?
