I've seen loads over the last few days. A few McLarens, a 570S near Mayland On Sunday morning in convoy with a pair of Porsches and a Ferrari, a yellow 570S convertible later on in Sawbridgeworth, two 675s this morning (one spider), both on the M11. A Corniche Convertible on the M11 this morning, and a Bentley T2 shortly after that. Also a lovely green XJ-S in N. Fambridge

Two E28 M5's on the Thread in a week - good work.

Love the wheels on the XJ-6, 2.9?

No, the 2.8 became the 3.4 for S2/3, and then there was a new 2.9 for the XJ40 I think. this was a 4.2 though, but missing its hubcaps.

Two this morning heading into Chelmsford: yellow Fiat Coupe at the Army & Navy roundabout and a black Healey 3000 coming over the A12 at the Danbury/Park & Ride junction.

Later in the day & central Chelmsford: red Ferrari 308 & a white Alfa Spyder ('70's).

Like many I'm sad I missed the M5 boat. I have a BMW Z3M M Coupe which seems like a keeper, but i sometimes get tempted to change to an E34 M5!

I guess I need to be sharp to spot and E28 M5 in the wild, but any E28 is a rare sight now!

Lots out & about this weekend, inc an Alfa 145 (rarity of these came up on here a couple weeks ago) coming off the A12 @ Colchester McDonalds - stood out amongst modded VW's.
That's my dads little 145, we were off to the breakfast meet at the Colchester Park and Ride.

It looked good - first one I'd seen for ages.

Thanks very much.
They are very few and far between now. There used to be a few in and round Essex a few years ago, probably all rotted away now ??

I had 2 145 cloverleafs myself. They are fun little cars to drive, full of Italian character … and rust ??

Which breakfast meet is that? I've been to one at Bungalow Diner before, that one?

I think I saw you guys in Hatfield Peveral, red 145 with a bucket seat?

No prob, it was actually a call for our resident XJS specialist (Luke Harding) re whether it's a conversion or a factory cabriolet smile
