Advice on Car Stuff just North of New York

Hi all,

I'll be spending a few weeks in the vicinity of New City, NY in mid-July and was wondering if anybody here can give me a few pointers on car-related stuff to do in the area ?
Haverstraw, Congers, Nyack, etc etc etc Willing to travel approx. 1 hour in any direction !

Any ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated !

I live in NYC and drive north quite often. I can't think of anything car wise that is interesting. Sorry.
You will also find it can take an hour just to get out of the city. The driving is crap, both because the roads are really bad (potholes and signage) and the standard of driving is poor.

No worries, thanks. Will be spending time with friends in the area and will likely be chiling so would have time to check out any cars n coffee or club meets, or collections, museums, tracks etc

Cars and Caffe (stupid name) host meets somewhere in north NJ close to NYC. I found them on instagram.

Lime Rock Park might be a bit far but is a good circuit so I hear.

Thanks for the info. A bit of time on Facebook search has yielded some pointers on car meets based not too far away in NJ. Might check one or two out if the location and timings suit.

As it turns out I'm also there for the Formula E New York race weekend this year. Might grab some tickets and travel into Brooklyn for the Sunday.
Anybody been to Formula E in the past there?
