I travelled back to the UK between submitting my N400 and my citizenship interview. No issues at all.

I travelled to the UK between my interview and the ceremony. I even had to reschedule my ceremony because of it. Absolutely no issues. Just make a note of it (as instructed) on the ceremony invite notice and hand it over along with your green card at the ceremony. They won’t give it a second look. Maybe if you’d been to Iran, or Russia, or some other US unfriendly place, they might have some questions, but any “normal” places, no problem.
