Does anyone know what time the tunnel is opening on Wednesday?

My bosses missus works there and says it won't be the 6th.. But, the sign on the entrance to the contractors bit still says the 6th. Another person I know says they're working 24hrs a day down there at the moment (They hadn't been) as there has been a problem and if they don't open on the 6th there will be fines for the contractors so they're trying to get it done.

Guess we'll have to see..

Hmmm, that will be interesting as we are still down to do the rolling road on Wednesday!!! The time given for us to be there is 10:00 hours, so anytime from then really!!! (if there are no hitches of course!!!)

On the 10th it will be in the afternoon for the northbound tunnel.

Hes now changed his mind and says that as they're working 24/7 they should be fine

I was thinking they ment time your car from one end to the other

Do a couple of mods and then rerun, see if your've shaved a couple of seconds of the time

I think, the Police will pick up the traffic at a certain location and drive slowly along towards the tunnel, so the workers at the tunnel have a minute to change the direction of the traffic towards the tunnel and then the Police will drive through the tunnel and after that pull off and thats it.. The tunnel is open.

we slow the traffic but keep it moving, the tunnel people move the cones and bollards etc whilst protected by us then ta da, we all go throughthe tunnel. Going to be a shock for those at the front who aren't aware of whtas going on!!!

Ah That would be why I got a call from a Police Officer about bikes, thought I had been bad again

Just had an email that the Tunnel opening has been delayed. Its not from the HA, but members of my team here have been working on the Tunnel, but they dont know of any issues?

They have not given a reason. Other than the tunnel opening will not be mid to Late July. Any truth in this?
