Nice quiet bar/wine bar in Chelmsford - recommendations pls

I'm looking for recommendations for a nice quiet pub/bar/wine bar, (suitable for a first date) in Chelmsford on Saturday evening. I realise this may be difficult on a Saturday but you have to work with what you've got. Preferably close to the cathedral area.

All recommendations greatly received.

The Wine Cellar on Duke St backs onto the Cathedral & would do the job.

From the railway station it's at the bottom of Duke St heading towards the High St.

Alternatively Bottle Bureau, top of Waterloo Lane/junction with New St is OK (another basement).
