A friend (really), is selling his property in a village near (just south) Reading. He is a mechanic and runs his business from a decent sized garage & workshop at the rear of the property.

A long shot, but I thought I’d mention it here. If it’s potentially of interest, I can put you in touch and provide more details. 4 bed detached.

Not yet on rm. they’ve only just instructed. She’s probably right to be cautious. Important to pick the right area - there’s a lot of scum around with some great villages dotted around. As ever really.

Garage is more than decent!

One nice garage with one ugly house.

I'm northern. And you can imagine my shock at the asking price.

You'd struggle to get 1/2 that in a village in the countryside in Lancashire.

Always amazed at the massive difference.

Anyway nice garage.

Most PH'ers could buy that cash anyways.

I love it though, very cool.

For most PH'ers, any sum <£1m is a rounding error anyway.

I don’t think it’s an ugly house.

Great place for a petrolhead to buy, good luck to him.

Cheers - he's a great guy. Top mechanic too, has been able to fix every annoying problem I've ever had with minimum fuss beer
