Yup. Locally known as the Mucky Duck. It was in the opening scene of the film American Werewolf in London. It used to be a “very” interesting place.

Haven't actually been over there as the last week has been mental but I'll keep trying and shift to June if they're waiting until after the next easing.

I still haven't seen a meet there yet and they weren't booking 'em a couple of weeks back.

I've given up trying to get to a meet, there seems to be no appetite for it across the board. The events section is scant and even PH are moving threads away from it. FB groups much the same, no planned meets. I thought people would be desperate to get out but seemingly not so, unless a lot of people have had to sell their cars due to Covid.

The Black Swan meet on 13 June has been planned for a while and Walton Bridge Breakfast Club are just about to announce a date on their FB page but that will likely be July / Aug. Unsure whether I will bother to go to either though.

Just back in country after a few years away and would love to join a meet if they do happen again. I'll keep an eye out here just in case. Bit disheartening to hear appetite may be dying down though

Wonder why. It's outside so it's Covid safe even for the most cautious. I suppose there's the social anxiety but I didn't think it would be that bad? I'm definitely up for it depending on the day/time and I'm no outgoing party animal.

The Black Swan/Mucky Duck meet seems to be happening on Sunday - 08.30 onwards.
