Hi guys

Looking for the best PPF fitting near High Wycombe, a place that will prep the paint properly before fitting.

I have already found a couple a bit further afield who will do it the "right" way but I wanted to see if there were any a little closer before I go ahead.

Thanks very much

Prob doesn't classify as 'near' but I used this chap in Reading for my GTS

He does some really nice tackle, including work for Lambo in Pangbourne

Can you let me know who you end up with please, I'm looking for the same type of business to fix a couple of cars for me.

I'm going for the Autowerks in High Wycombe. They will prep and do a one stage polish of the car first, and I've asked them to touch up the minor 2 stone chips on the front edge of the bonnet. Price isn't as cheap as some others but they are local and they do the polish which I want. Not getting it done for a couple of weeks so will report back. They also use a film that I was unaware of, but I went up to see it today and it looks good, and it comes with a 10 year warranty either way.

That’s good to know. I met him today and he seems a nice genuine chap and was more than willing to show me things and answer my questions so I believe it will be a good choice

I'd forgotten about them, used them for wheels before, did a good job so I'll wait for you to report back first. Thanks!

No more info than what I’ve shared above. I’ve been speaking to them a lot and they are very willing to help, but I’m not booked until the 18th. The only unknown is the film they use which is Llumar film, I don’t know much about it but I’ve seen it and it looks good

Llumar is made by the same company that sells Suntek, both are well regarded. With PPF, it mostly comes down to the installation, so just watch out for wrap around edges on tricky panels, bubbles etc.
If you are only doing the front end, it should be easier to do a decent job
