The puppy dog police seem to take theirs home - I bet their roads never get burgled!
I'd be more worried about house / car / family being targetted.
Ah, fair point. I guess it is a worry.

It's different for them, as they still have access to their own car to go to the shops etc. The on call ciu don't as they leave their car at work (there aren't enough for each to have their own personal issue)

If they are on call, then they attend a job from where ever they are.

I've also never ever seen one.
Yep me neither, have Ford missed a trick with advertising a fast (ish) wagon here?

The blue 3/5 (Not sure, sorry!) series BMW looks good doesn't it! Saw it on the A3 today parked up, cool LED display in the rear window and plenty of blues all over it.. Nice to drive?

Local 'HV**' Plates too.. Sneaky! wink

hehe

I followed the meet on FB, didn't bother going down as I knew it'd just get shut down.

As a side note, a funny comment I read on their FB page, directed at you guys.. As apparently this meet was for 'charity' (They didn't actually raise any money at all rolleyes)

"its ok those dick heads shud be made to go up to those sick kids in hospital and explain to them what happened to thier funding"

hehe

Bloody pigs! biggrin

The pictures looked quite good, a fair few cars there.

To be honest there's been no issues with the tunnel that I'm aware of for a while, so can't see that a well organised tunnel run couldn't be done.

Can't believe the charity run raised no money for charity biggrin

I only popped up to be nosey!

We stopped on the Old Thorns flyover as it looked like the road was blocked, when I realised the services must of been shut we carried on towards the tunnel. Presume there would be a presence from you guys and the 40 limit didn't surprise me.

Wasn't quite as impressive as I'd hoped it would be!

A former relative of mine had to move house for this reason, he lived in the area that he Policed, and had to move because of repurcussions...

As a side note, if it was properly organised, with H/A (I assume they'd need to ok it as they run the tunnel?) and organised with BiB, would there be a problem with a tunnel run? I know you can't say officially, obviously.

I personally don't see a problem with it, we get involved in other organised events with no issues. It's good publicity for us as long as it runs smoothly as possible and no lawsaaware broken.

I think in the above case the 40's would be on for
A - the cars were going that slow it triggered the sensor
B - I believe there was a broken down vehicle in the tunnel

Landshark will know more about that as I haven't been down to the tunnel in a long time biggrin

Excellent, thanks! smile Deciding whether to try and organise one, the tunnel does get abit boring after a few goes, and I've certainly had a few goes by now..

No rules around going for a drive with mates, even if it is one hundred mates.

As long as you are not inciting offences or a race / time trial, then each driver is responsible for their own actions.

I was following that Facebook group too and glad I decided not to go down there. I liked your input.
It has prompted me to get the ball rolling for another tunnel run and breakfast, I'm just trying to find the thread from before

As this has popped up again it reminded me of a spot recently - grey BMW 3 Touring travelling with Blues towards Bagshot through the level crossing in Sunningdale.

It was during the Olympics so not sure if it was a 'visitor' from the college.
There must be twins - a blue 3 Series Touring **** WGC with Blues & Twos this morning heading towards the A30 in Sunningdale.

Passed the incident ((Outside Stone Court, Five Stars old gaff), about half a dozen marked cars, a recovery truck, but no sign of an accident... Odd...

Ah, HV12WGC, with no model number badge. I saw that one on the M25 last week, forgot to add it here. The driver was playing the game of hide in the slow lane in front of lorries, and wait for some quarry to pass by wink
