I know, but it used to be a pretty good give-away with the old unmarked cars.

I was parked up in my works truck near to where they were holed up
ready to go and play cops n robbers.
I was waiting to meet an urgent parts delivery needed for this morning.

That's amazing, so we actually do have at least one practice / ability that you don't then! We saw that accident on the M25 yesterday at the A30 junction and the road was shut for hours with queues for miles all around - we would have cleared them within 5 minutes therefore getting rid of all the traffic chaos! How do they justify not letting you do that as the inconvenience to the public was enourmous!

Can't comment on that one, as I wasn't there and knew nothing about the job. Most will drag stuff out of the way if its possible, maybe with that one it wasn't?

If it can be towed then normally one of the Disco's will turn up and shift it as you can tow with them (and we've shifted some big things with them in all weathers!!!). All the other (traffic) cars have tow ropes so they can if they need to, just we not suppose to whistle

Speaking of GX-plates, saw a very, very shiny new '62' 5-series Touring on the Farnham Bypass late this afternoon. Marked.
