Speaking of GX-plates, saw a very, very shiny new '62' 5-series Touring on the Farnham Bypass late this afternoon. Marked.
Think there's a few of those?

Saw the marked Landrover on the A3 this evening.

That reminds me, one of the marked E61s was parked way up on the verge just before Forsyth's on the A3 around 7.20am. Bit of an odd one..?

I know the difference between a Focus and a BMW wink

It was about 8:15am.. But was parked pretty far back near the hedge. No ANPR set up or anything, weird.

It's Northbound between the Shackleford junction and the Puttenham (A31) junction.

The OH got pulled last night by an unmarked Focus (a regular one, not a traffic ST one) in Guildford because her dipped beams were out (it's a Honda, these things shouldn't happen! Lights were all fine the night before).
I got a call saying "someone had told me my lights don't work, pick me from a garage, I can't drive my car."
When I arrive, about 15 minutes later I find the cop had been under the bonnet messing around with the relays, and managed to get the dipped back working, and said hopefully it will safe for her to drive home.

So thumbs up to the chap in Surrey Police, for going above and beyond, offering car repair services on the house! I doubt you would get that from too many other forces.
