Lol truly the unmarked vehicle of choice for both forces then! eeek
Hmm, these days I get paranoid around any BMW repmobile which is not in the outside lane, unless its being driven badly or has obvious chav/family/private plate indicators.Edited to add: Which I guess means that the Police have succeeded in making me drive more slowly more of the time

Navy blue BMW X5 on the A404 between Marlow and the M4 this evening. Two uniform guys in it.
Having had a chat to the 2 nice gentlemen inside about a bit of overtaking it's actually a black BMW X5. Managed to get a close up look whilst they were checking my deets!Navy blue BMW X5 on the A404 between Marlow and the M4 this evening. Two uniform guys in it.
Dark Blue Audi A3 (maybe an S3?) on the A30 earlier this afternoon, along with 2 marked BMW's that were dealing with, what appeared to be, the fallout from an accident.
Looked like a car had tried turning into The Avenue blind but, as per usual, hadn't bothered to check that the bus lane was clear too and had smacked into a taxi.

According to my FIL there’s an unmarked car out and about late at night. Couldn’t remember what make or model (very helpful) but said it was an old battered thing with headlights that weren’t properly levelled and blinded.
Blue lights came on and he was hesitant to stop as he didn’t believe it was an unmarked. Still wasn’t sure even after the blokes showed him ID. He didn’t believe they were real coppers as they didn’t know what a ‘purple plus’ was.
He was stopped at 2am whilst driving a white van on the way back from shift. The stop makes sense as why would a tradesman be on the road that late but he still sensed something was off with it.
So yeah. Be on the lookout for a battered older car with blinding headlights and concealed blues. Haha

I had to look up what a ‘purple plus’ is!! It looks to be ambo slang for a dead person???
So just because they didn’t know doesn’t mean they weren’t!
