If you need to park up again drop me a line. I get free parking in woking.. Have a proximety card for the shoppers car park.

Don't us it all the time as I get the bus.
Hi, do you still have a proximity card for the shoppers' car park, please? I am starting work on Monday and don't know where to park.
You join a forum today and your first post is bumping up a post from 8 years ago (almost to the day), asking for something for free? Good luck with that!
Also, theres loads of car parks in woking...

I had to laugh when I read this!

I worked in an office in Church Street East back in 1985-88 and we had to put a chain with a padlock across the entrance to our car park at weekends to keep the shoppers out.

One Saturday I was doing some overtime and a colleague had left the chain down, so a chancer decided to park in our car park. But then another colleague arrived and put the chain back up with the padlock!

Watching some cheeky tw*t trying to bounce over kerbs to the car park next door for over half an hour on time and a half entertained all of us who were there that day! laugh

Hi guys,

I have just bumped into this tread as I am soon starting a new position for an engineering job in Woking town centre.
Does anyone know where I can find free parking of less than a mile from the train station or GU21?

Any helpful info will be appreciated!

Many Thanks 😊

Try under the trees (on the grass) at the far end of Boundary Road (opposite Boundary Way) my office was in the estate there and no-one ever gets ticketed.

Thanks Dan, I guess I will try that, or that parking expense would be too much.

Also remembered you can park on Woodham road (after Carlton Road) but it's a fresh 1 mile / 20 min walk in
