It looks like their website is rather neglected.

Have they made many F400's? What is the quoted wait list? When is PH going to pay a visit to the factory?

I'm intrigued. The website has removed the F400 link and twitter says:

Headlights are wrong for a G50/55.
I would imagine it is an advancement on the Fabio, especially seeing that the original designer is working alongside production. Maybe even making it back into the car it should of been?

I am just investigating how to get G40R registered outside of UK.. their web online shop for apparel is not working either, or am I doing something wrong?

If for "outside of UK" you mean other european countries, the simplest way could be to register in UK (under the IVA scheme) and then export to the other country.

G60

[quote]Ginetta has presented its new range-topping G60 sports car, a limited-productiom mid-engined creation that brings back the mid-engine layout to the company’s line-up after over 20 years.

The vehicle is based on the carbon fiber Farbio GTS, with Ginetta having acquired the company that builds this car back in March. However, it comes with extensive changes for the carbon foer tub, body and running gear.

This is a vehicle focused solely on performance, with the project loosing 400 kg compared to the Fabio GTS and now tipping the scales at 1,100 kg. The diet has sent away all the electronic goodies, including the ABS, as well as the power steering.

At the center of the car, we find a 3.7-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine borrowed from the Ford Mustang, which delivers 310 hp. Ginetta also offers a 410 hp supercharged GTS 400 version, which should play the o to 60 mph (96 mph) game in under four seconds and offer a top speed that exceeds 165 mph (265 km/h).

The engine sits on a new tubular steel subframe, separated from the carbon fiber tub, being mated to a six-speed Ford gearbox and sending its power to the rear wheels via a Quaife limited slid differential.

All this performance comes at a price - the Ginetta G60 can be yours for GBP68,000 (EUR78,980 or $104,490 at the current exchange rates).

So the trick is to take an good car and inject the Ginetta DNA (a mix of power and lightness) to build a proper sportscar.
looks like LNT has done a good job, isn't it?

At the same time, someone else is inverting their original process, adding weight instead of lightness...

Oh no! what have they done yikes. I've been a big fan of everything LNT have brought to the Ginetta brand but those rear vents look hideous. The companies flagship model looks like it's had a make over at an 80's British Leyland design studio. That simply does not look like a 68K car.

Credit where credit is due - Ginetta have taken a struggling supercar project and turned it into something tangible. I hope it works for them - if success is based on effort, then it desrves to succeed. Personally, I think it looks fantastic....

Totally agree, but it's a considerably better attempt than this gazillion pound effort.

Must confess the black hefty looking vents on the rear and on rear roof line not good imo.

But also the two tone red/black doesn't seem to work (and I like red/black normally as on my MINI JCW below)
and 'black' wheels seem not to work but distract again (only imo, of course).

And especially not when you look at the clean lines of the earlier Farbio
(EVO pic, sure they won't mind, if they do it'll disappear!) which 'looks' supercar to me.

Await to see G60 all in one colour or vents that aren't so obtrusive (perhaps it looks fine in the flesh?).

Only just realised the Farbio/G60, like the G40R, both have MINI door mirrors.
Gives an idea of G60 car size then against MINI.

I actually like the vents providing they actually do something beneficial to the car. Only thing I've not liked about it is the rear tail lights.

It does look like they cut up one of the press cars.
