According to Trevor 3426FZ was sold to Easy cars in Belfast but then returned for non payment reasons. This car was driven by Walsh and Kipps and imported to the USA in late 63 or early 64; some time after my car.

Trevor gave me a very well researched 5 page document with evidence relating to factory pictures, instrument configuration, chassis number, roll bar mounting and colours that led him to believe the picture in the Boston Sunday Globe, May 31st 1964 are of Jack Walsh sitting in my car after an SCCA race.

I'll scan the photo and post it when I get a minute.

Now what this means almost 50 years later I'm not too sure, all I do know is that I'm really keen to see it completed and out racing again.

Ah, "Easy Build Cars" of Short Strand. Their reputation for financial casualness survives to this day. They specialised in sports and kit cars - mostly 1172s in the 1960s. As a student I almost bought a Ford engined Morgan 3 wheeler (in nice condition) from them, but my Ma wouldn't lend me the £90 asking price !!
