Ginetta G40R - anyone got theirs yet?
Discussion
I do prefer the style of a sigle cover over the lights, but separate lights are not necessarily a problem. I think the problem here is the use of a separate cowl to fix the headlights in the wing, which looks awful. Should have done it like TVR if they had to delete the lens because of fogging issues, but maybe they didn't have the time or cash to do anything else.
I was never a fan of the MK1 Tuscan lights and always felt the side light looked cheap and nasty.
Yes, cowled in lights on the G40R would look better but I think they've come up with a good enough solution.
I wonder if part of the reason for not covering them in now is to do with beam patterns and angles of visibility and IVA testing.

Likewise - the Tuscan in my opinion was awful, the whole wavy grill with big holes and the deep set lights just didn't do it for me. The Griff on the other hand was and still is beautiful 20 years on.
The G40's lights are growing on me I have to say, they are not the "marmite" that is the Tuscan
