G32 quick rack

Hi, was surprised to find that despite having a mid engine and light steering, and a very modern, and large castor figure, the G32 I have here has a three turns plus steering rack. Does anyone know what its from, as it has been suggested that it is not the obvious Fiesta or Escort thing but is non Ford - any help would be appreciated if anyone has any ideas. The car is the blue one that comes up on Google images
