Not sure where to ask this, but could a Ginetta G4 GRDC car be used as a (fast) road car?

I'm looking at an Exige S and spotted this model as a potential alternative. Is it possible? The Exige S is hardly known for creature comforts. Happy to be told I'm barking for a 15k+ miles a year option.

A colleague at work was looking at similar options for a new toy car. He's had all sorts previously ranging from a Focus RS to a Ferrari and a fair few things in between. He knows of my G20 and asked what the more modern Ginetta options were.

He road tested a G40 GRDC and came back most underwhelmed, commenting although the handling felt sharp it was just too slow with the 130 odd bhp 1.8 Zetec. He wasn't all that complementary about the overall build either, even acknowledging it is a road legal race car. I feel the 200bhp 2.0 Duratec cars might be a different kettle of fish.

He's ended up with a supercharged Elise of some sort, Cup IIRC.

but, in your opinion, a G40/G40R/GRDC is a "good" car for a road use?
or it is not good?

in my opinion the problem is not in the engine (135hp or 200hp) but if this car can be used on road without fear.

for example this car ha good shock absorbers for a road use?
