Hi I'm a long-ago serial kitcar builder, and current Elise 111S owner.
The Elise is intoxicating, but getting on a bit. I'm always investigating old-school, involving cars and have been looking at the G40R. I spotted what's claimed to be no.1 on eBay in a less than informative auction. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ginetta-G40R/1734991679...
Anyone know the story of it? I see the first owner posted in this section previously. I've also stumbled on a webpage showing the same car 'sold' a couple of months ago on eBay by a different seller.
How much of the running gear is MX-5? Engine and gearbox I see. What about the LSD, brakes, steering, etc.? Easily accessible parts for the future are always good to know about.
