There’s only so long you can hang around, before you look like you’re trying to nick it hehe

2.5 should be awesome.
I'll try to post some info in here once the 2.5 install is up and running. Should be having some local assistance from Steve Guglielmi, if you know him.

Picking my car up last Friday. A boring pic but I was happy to get the car back.

Foz Wilson driving what I believe to be 1959BB in it's original form at the Harewood Hillclimb back when the car was new, or nearly new.

The same car years later in my father's ownership, as found in a garage in Leamington Spa. Flat towed back, in the dark!

The G4 next to the Lotus Elan - not many cars can make an Elan look big, but a G4 manages it!

And the last photo I have of the car - I understand it sold at auction by Coys in recent years and may have gone to Dubai or somewhere East as part of a private collection.

I've never seen that pic before. Great shot.

However, 'Fos' Wilson's first G4 before he traded it in was reg UNL 837.

Fos told me he had two different G4's, and this one was 1959BB.

Correct, just had it confirmed by Ginetta OC Registrar.

This was Fos' second G4, he traded in his first G4 reg UNL 837 to Ginetta to buy this G4 1959 BB.

Indeed so - Fos told me this himself in the Ginetta Heritage days.

Here's another pic of it next to one of the others in the old fleet, a Europa JPS.

I doubt these photos have been seen before either as they were just old family snaps I dug out of an album.

And another one with the later style roof and rear tub being prepped to fit. My Dad and his then-boss drove to Ginetta to pick these up and got a tour of the facility etc too. From what I understand the Walklett's were quite good at 'Customer Relations' before the phrase even really existed!!

this must be a bargain for someone, if I had the spare money and space...its driving pleasure and a good investment.

Its not all that it appears to be! Viewed this car a couple of months ago, its not a genuine Ginetta or a Dare. Its a copy made by someone called Spange?! It will need a lot of work to be a runner. Could be made into a car but its not genuine and would not be eligible for FIA papers, not a good investment really.
