Ordered a new Titainium X for Oct build and have been told that production has been stopped on all vehicles that require partial leather confused According to the dealer Ford don't have any idea how long this delay will last so cannot give any clue of a build date? Has anyone else had this issue with thier order?

Seen it mentioned on a couple of Ford forums, suggesting there's an issue with the quality of the leather being supplied. I guess they're having to source another supply, but no indication of how long it will take frown

Ordered a new Fiesta ST Line X on 27th September last year. Received an email from dealer today, with an accompanying pdf document showing order details it states that car was due to be built on the 17th of October 2017. Status as of today is that no build date is imminent. Like yourself i have been told that delay is due to problems with leather. I was originally quoted 16 to 20 weeks for delivery. If nothing happens by the end of February i'm going to cancel order and go to another manufacturer.

Ordered a new Fiesta for Mrs Stu last Saturday had the same conversation with the sales guy. I initially wanted a titanium X but he said not to bother as everything with leather or partial leather they couldn’t get a delivery date for. So saved myself a few quid and to be honest She has a titanium now so no real difference.

To be honest we are on our 3rd one now, each time I look at changing make but haven’t found anything that matches up, they are a decent drive. I actually ended up paying less for this one than the last as I did a 3 way deal with an old diesel l had knocking around. I must be old but can’t get my head round a fiesta costing 20k at the top end. I quite liked the ST line myself and it was a little cheaper than the titanium but SWMBO didn’t like the “big” wheels. We’ve not had a problem with any of them and the 1.0 auto is a peach of an engine.

We were in the market to replace SWMBO elderly Rav 4 and she ended up with a 1.1 Zetec with the B&O infotainment system, peppy enough for town driving. Liked it so much I did a deal and chopped in an old Volvo for the 3 door ST line with the ecoboost 120BHP. Did a deal from stock cars so only had to wait a week to complete.

Pricey enough for 2 small cars but they just drove so well. My first fords since a 1990 Fiesta and a MK1 Mondeo many moons ago. I'm keeping my E Class for big journeys etc

Hi Folks, just an update on my order for a Fiesta ST-Line X. I paid the dealer a visit yesterday and they told me that car could possibly be built at the end of February, although no guarantee could be given. As i have already waited 4 months for this car i decided that i could not wait any longer and cancelled the order. I do not apportion any blame whatsoever on the dealer ( Parks Ford Stirling ). Craig Anderson the salesman was exceptionally helpful and tried his best for me. So a nice race red Fiesta 140 ST-Line X with, spare wheel, rear park sensors, CD Player and door protectors will be available at Parks Ford Stirling sometime, April possibly May. Haggle hard, i got a cracking discount.

Happened when I got my Focus ST last year, they ran out of heated steering wheels apparently so my car was 3 months late.
