Hi I'm Anthony and I'm writing
becouse I don't know if my car has a timing chain or belt, now has 59.000 miles, I need to change it? I've got a bad experience with my previously car becouse I broke the timing chain and I scrap the car becouse the damage was too expensive to fixed.
Thanks you so much for your help if you can.
Anthony

The 1.3 was chain driven.

So this car doesn't have a timing belt issue? Are you saying that it's ok for the future and doesn't need replacing right?

The timing chain shouldn't (ever) need replacing, but I think the auxiliary drive belt should be done every 10 years/150k miles.

Even if it was belt driven, it'd probably cost more to change it then the cars worth. Just drive it and if it breaks, scrap it.
