Recovery trucks

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a Ford transit recovery truck and I wanted some advice about Ford transit recovery truck.

I wanted know what are the common issues with these trucks?

It's the first I will be purchasing a vehicle like this and I don't know much how much about these types of vehicles.

Regards the chassis, all normal RWD Tranny issues would apply (what year / mileage are you looking at?).

The recovery bodies come from various builders, some ropey / some good. Transit Recovery trucks are pretty weight limited & many will spend their life frequently running overweight which fatigues the recovery body & can cause premature prop & diff wear.
