Don't know whether to post in owners' cars, car mechanics, commercial break, but settled on here as maybe more folk will see it?

I've got a recurring fault on my 2019 Ranger. Just a long shot, but has anybody else seen the warning below & had it fixed? It doesn't leave a fault code so dealer is flummoxed. (sorry about the poor photo, but I think you'll get the gist)

With a potential safety-related fault like that clearly displayed on the dashboard, on a <1 year old vehicle, I would be dropping it off at the dealer and asking them to let you know when it's all sorted.

I tried that. I got bored before they did. I think that is going to be the answer though. I'm hoping it's a glitch in the matrix , rather than a true fault with the brakes.

There is a recall out for some rangers,
It involves new front flexi's and washers.
not sure if this brings the light on.

I have heard in the past the EGR valve wiring is linked to the Abs system.

EPB? does it actually work. If its anything like the VW type the lever / switch can cause issues.

Good old fashioned pull up job on the Ranger. Thanks for the thought though.

Hi, I bought a 69-plate ranger last year great truck, but I do tend to go through brake discs quite quickly which is a bit worrying, I've been running fords standard pads and discs has anyone upgraded with better results. any suggestions would be fantastic thanks in advance. for reference ive been through 4 sets of discs/pads this year. i use engine braking where possible but both the dealer and I are flummoxed.

Something seriously wrong there. I keep mine for 3 years and about 45k miles. In that time they have never needed pads, discs or even tyres.

As above, weird! (Unless you are doing 300,000 miles a year)
