New Focus owner queries

Just got a 2019 Ford Focus zetec ecoboost yesterday but have a couple of queries if anyone can help?
When I unlock the car, the lighting dial always defaults to automatic lighting on even i set it to off before getting out the car. Why is this and is it correct?
When I get in, there’s a loading message On the dashboard saying the electronic handbrake is being applied when it’s already on. Again is this ok?

Good spot, another fault with the latest round of software updates.
When the car was first released I had no issues (for me I turned the autostop start function off as I don't like it and had issues with my previous car). But now thats on regardless and the same with the alarm system, I like to turn the interior sensors fully off in preparation for iow ferry. Now it resets itself every time the car is started which is great when you forget and then have 20 messages on your phone app saying car alarm.
I can confirm the handbrake as well, it appears when you open the door but doesn't bother me.
