However, still not had a single document through which confirms the actual monthly leasing cost, additional mileage, t's&c's etc
And nothing in the Hartwells App ? Although from memory the info you are looking for I think came to me on a Personal Contract Hire Quotation which was emailed to me after I’d chased the dealer for it. 11cc said:

No, there is nothing in the App which tells me anything about what I will be paying - The closest would be the order form which shows the list price / discounts of the vehicle, but not what that looks like as a monthly for me. The PCH Quotation is exactly what is missing in all of this. This is the same document that would be issued to me on day 1 by the dealer or broker for my previous 5 leases, setting out the costs. Surely this exists, as this is what ALD have done their finance checks against....?

WOW I never gave that a thought they the dealer might have got the figures wrong! I've received a letter from ford saying my finance has been excepted BUT as yet no amount has been mentioned! I ordered yellow so will i be charged the extra for choosing that colour meaning £159 wont be the monthly outgoing?
I'm also with Hereford BUT (as i continually being told by them) that they will no longer be Ford dealers come first of Jan and will have to deal with Hartwell Oxford IF i have not received my car by the end of Dec! I will be very surprised if i get the car before the end of Dec BUT i will be even more surprised if it doesn't turn into a s
t show with the hand over between the 2 dealers! Oxford is just down the road from Hereford....like 120 miles down the road! ??????
I'll be doing 140 mile round trip to Oxford and back home if/when the car is ready. I got hold of Kuda at Hartwell in Hereford who emailed me the attached as reassurance that the finance had been approved. I also called ALD afterwards as others had suggested and they confirmed the monthly amount of £159.I'm also with Hereford BUT (as i continually being told by them) that they will no longer be Ford dealers come first of Jan and will have to deal with Hartwell Oxford IF i have not received my car by the end of Dec! Ordered my car just before the deal was pulled. The dealer told me I could only order if I went for 6k miles+ — which I was completely fine with. My deal worked out at £219 1x23, with the added cost of the black metallic paint and an upgrade from the Select to the Premium model.
I filled in the finance proposal the next day and sent it back with my driver’s licence. A credit check soon showed up on my Experian app, so I assumed everything was moving smoothly (especially after hearing about dealers entering info incorrectly).
On 8/10, I was invited to a document portal containing an order form and another finance proposal. I filled it out again, signed the order form, and everything looked correct.
The next day, my dealer asked for 3 months’ payslips and said there was an issue with my email address on the finance application — which seemed a bit odd, but I sent both over right away.
Since then… silence. It’s now been over 3 weeks with no updates and no new Experian credit checks. I finally called ALD directly (after waiting over 30 minutes to get through). They had trouble finding my application at first, but eventually told me they’d contacted the dealer on 20/10 asking for some extra information — and hadn’t heard anything back.
I asked what info they needed (as I’d happily send it myself), but they said I’d need to contact the dealer directly.
Honestly, I know it’s a cheap deal, but it’s not really acceptable to leave customers completely in the dark like this with no clear next steps.
Is anyone else in the same situation or had similar delays with ALD/Ford Lease recently?

Surely ALD have failed this.

Suggest you call them for an update.
You might have passed the credit check, but they may now be silently sat on your application because they didn't like your email address (yes seriously), don't have your payslips/SA302 (that was never requested) or want an employment contract (again, never originally requested).
They should be reporting this back to the dealer to then contact you, but evidence would suggest they simply don't bother and/or if they do, Hartwell then sit on it.
Spoke to ALD today — exactly as you mentioned, they’re asking for payslips and said there’s an issue with my email address. But my email was spelled correctly in the proposal form, and I’ve been communicating with the sales team using the same address without any problems. I’ve contacted Hartwell, so hopefully things will start moving forward. You might have passed the credit check, but they may now be silently sat on your application because they didn't like your email address (yes seriously), don't have your payslips/SA302 (that was never requested) or want an employment contract (again, never originally requested).

It’s honestly nonsense that the customer has to drive the whole deal themselves. If they can’t handle the volume, they shouldn’t have rolled out the offer in the first place. What a shame.

It may not be the spelling of your email address but what your actual address mail address is e.g. random name/mother maidens name etc.It s honestly nonsense that the customer has to drive the whole deal themselves. I've finally had a letter today confirming that my finance has been accepted
September 10th - ordered in person at dealership
October 16th - asked for proof of earnings, provided copy of self-assessment
October 30th - finance accepted.
I chased my dealership September 16th and October 1st then decided to just let it run its course. Never contacted ALD
I've just checked Experian and there have been no credit searches carried out!
The letter includes the line "your application has been accepted and you can continue to make arrangements for the arrival of your new vehicle". Which is nice except we have no idea when it might be coming and no information on charger install etc!

So my dealer has provided incorrect name to the finance company which is now causing an issue. Has anyone experienced this before with ALD? Can it be corrected or is it going to have to be a new application?
They got my DOB wrong, although I was told initially it could be appealed it turns out it can’t and a new application had to be submitted. That’s where I am now and am waiting for the Pricing Team to review it before it can go back to the Dealer to propose then the Underwriters do their thing (first time I’ve done this, I think I’ve got that right)DeeDouble said:

I think this is where I am too. Who are the pricing team? ALD or the Ford dealership?Joel1988 said:
Got the car now doing battle with Octopus who are putting every possible barrier in the way of getting the charger installed.
Think I will have a battle coming, ordered two cars one with charger, but I only want the charger not to move to Octopus. The dealer told me the £480 was for the charger & I didn’t need to move to Octopus, lets see how this pans out

I ordered on the 7th September and finance took a while. My email address was wrong and so was the spelling of my name so I didn’t get confirmation until mid October.
I’ve just received an email from my dealer though saying the car is built and in transit and will be here in 2 to 4 weeks.
So it will come good, charger being installed by Octopus on 3/12 as well so all good.
