Plenty off people on the puma fb group taking delivery, although most are not on this deal, paying more or have bought outright, I guess us bargain hunters are way down the list for a car
Yup, I particularly liked one of the owners saying There are plenty deals to be had. I wouldn't be 4rsed if they cancelled. I've to wait 4-6 months anyway.
My money is good in a lot of places. Then proceeds to say they put 12 months down and £212 a month! It seems some people s definition of a deal varies somewhat
Eye watering
It’s fine, they made the deal cheaper for us.

Ordered at the start of September through DM Keith.
Signed ringways documents and was advised there was an issue initially with system being down.

I ve spoken with ALD twice since who state the order is canceled their end.
Whilst DM Keith/Ringways saying they are waiting for something ALD end?

Seems abit of a farce that both blaming each other whilst nothing progresses.

Anyone else in the same boat?
Same here but waiting on finance and have contacted ALD they ve told me to contact dealer as they require additional info even though I ve sent everything like drivers license payslips etc 4 times. Contacted dealer via email no response gave a call and the guy I was on the phone to was so rude so I ve given up now chasing it as neither are helpful and know how to deal with customers.
Hi, I've had the same frustrations with DM Keith in Bradford. In part this is due to the Transaction Manager (who handles this sort of thing usually) being off sick. I spoke to Paul Wickham who is a Senior Sales Executive and who I found to be very helpful. My lease finance went through in about 10 working days and the factory order was placed shortly thereafter but 1 month on and apparently Ford haven't 'accepted' it yet, which I assume means that the build hasn't been scheduled. My estimated delivery date of 31/1/26 is starting to look very doubtful!!

I don't understand how or why people are paying more for metallic? I was told multiple times, even by email by the dealer that colour metallic is free as part of the £139.

I have an order form and was phoned by hartwells to confirm finance was approved on this basis and now just waiting for car.
All the deals were different. Trustford's deals were the same price irrespective of colour but as they were eg 12+23 you were paying for the privilege anyway. I went with DM Keith and chose metallic blue which added to the cost but as it was 1+23 it was cheaper than TrustFord by more than £750 overall.

I have also ordered through DM Keith Bradford, finance was approved end of September, not had any updates since. When did u place your order and did DM Keith provide you with the estimated date after finance approved? Ive tried to get a delivery date from them but had nothing back.

I always assumed the cheap deals were excess stock or capacity so genuinely surprised you need to wait for a build slot.

I think the Puma is at or near the top of the sales chart every month and has been the best selling car in the UK in 2023, 2024 and it looks like it will be in 2025 too.

That is for combined ICE and EV sales.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0mxgzpj1dvo?a...

Drivers of electric vehicles (EVs) could face the prospect of a new tax in this month's Budget.
With pressure on the chancellor to find tens of billions of pounds in additional revenue, the BBC understands there have been "conversations" within government about the possibility of a new levy on EVs.
A government spokesperson told the BBC: "Fuel duty covers petrol and diesel, but there's no equivalent for electric vehicles. We want a fairer system for all drivers."
The statement follows a report in the Daily Telegraph, external that the Budget would include a new pay-per-mile charge for electric vehicles from 2028, following a consultation.

That ad doesn't mention the Puma Gen-E specifically, just says 'Ford Puma' so assume it applies to ICE versions too.

Has anyone been given a solid delivery date or chassis number from Hartwells yet? Thanks
