Instantly reminds me of the smell of GRP and petrol that I had in ownership..
Did i read somewhere that the tank leaked?
That is the first time I have seen the type of fuel tank installed.
No luck with the masses of receipts of purchases..Appears to have been lost in one of my moves.
Will arrange for the cine film to be converted this week.

Hi I got two tanks with the car one I took as being the original which as a pin hole in the bottom, and the one that's in the car now that is solid.both exactly the same tanks ,will get the original repaired and keep as a spare, along with a spare steering rack that came with car. Shame you can't find the paper work but not surprised as not many people hang onto receipts going that far back. Will look forward to seeing footage of car as I don't have any Picts of it in its past , got quite a bit done lately so will post update soon as I can,

Think you may need an MOT first smile
I had our car engine size and type and colour change registered in Dec last year with DVLA and it was changed to historic vehicle status at the same time (1973 car)

Apparently it’s been taxed since then!!!

so clearly no need for an MOT, despite not being mot’d for 15 years+

Quite surprised but happy.

Yes that's same happened to mine , last time on the road in 1981 and came up as unlicensed when I tried to sorn it , so I applied for historic vehicle , and engine change, and came back no problems, and when I applied for tax automatically came up as tax and mot exempt , I must admit I was surprised as not every thing is that straight forward with the DVLA, thank for your input .
