Sorry to hear you have got to have another op. Good news that no more tumour is found though.
All the best for the future.

Mac can't thank you enough for the heads up reference Craig he is a first class block who is well respected her and in the US. Dealing with him was great and we had no major problem with getting all the part cheaply and quickly from the US.

When I drove the car last week the engine sounded sweet and it started on the button every time no smoke and oil issues a proper job.
Great news mate, hang in there and get ready for a great summer

Congrats, looks an amazing job.

I can relate to your build issues and to think you've had to cope with that as well while seriously ill..... suffice to say your attitude does you great credit.

Wish you well for health and that you can finally just enjoy the car from now on

Great to see your car is finally back on the road, Angus. I hope your are well enough to fully enjoy it soon. I haven't met you, but I've seen your car at Ian's place. I saw the bits of your blown engine, which looked distinctly second hand! It's difficult finding good engine builders, so many bullstters out there. Even the good ones do bad jobs sometimes and it's a lottery how they are going to respond to and rectify the situation. I have a "Evo" chassis in build at the moment and the horsepower will simply come in a crate labelled "GM"!

Thanks Gents for your kind responses.

I can honestly say it drives as good as it looks. I get the feeling Ian at Sportmotive enjoyed leaving the engine parts on display for all to see. For me I had to move and put that part of this development project behind me. Dealing with Craig as restored my faith and if I evey get Ian to build me another car then Craig will do the engine. However if I am honest I will NEVER build another car as I have finally got my dream car finished..

Angus, what exhaust set up are you running ie cats in or out, silencer boxes and tube size? would be interested as we had to incorperate silencing into the rear exit pipes to bring the noise levels down as ur limited for space under the car with the larger TKO box, hence i've ended up with some serious big bore pipes coming out the back, its not standard looking as i intended but growing on me more every day! Jury is out on this at the moment.
