I see that neither driver or passenger are wearing seat belts. Did this car have them fitted?
Yeah, that's one of the main-features of the launch-edition: no seatbelts biggrin

Seriously, there were 4 points in the showcar. But since the car is presumably not yet road-legal, they staged that "home coming" part anyway and put on a bit of a show in front of the offices !? But still very much welcome, more please.

Edit: glad they put in a camera, Les crashing the first ever prototype in front of the office on film would have been top-notch marketing stuff !!!!

Personally, I'll use GT101. Apparently they are used to dealing with some performance car or other

You in Essex Rob? GT101 closest to me. They need to update their web site though, still showing new car as the Autocar render....
Right by my parent's! Will have to keep an eye out there for TVR's when the time comes..

Hertfordshire but close enough. I will have a word with Dave that runs the show. He used to look after an old car of mine ;-)

A minor adjustment with the logo relocated to the grill slat. I think it works quite well, but then I've been looking at it for a little while so my judgment may be skewed.

Where does the numberplate go? getmecoat

I would expect at this stage there is only one set of finished show wheels, so they won't want to take any risks with either curbing them or damaging (especially the diamond edges) while loading and strapping down to the transport truck.

This needs to stop. That just looks terrible

I agree - in my opinion the only way the front could be improved would be to add a pepper-pot grill, as others have already suggested (and as was shown in the original sketch). Then again, I do own a Mk1 Tuscan so I'm probably biased wink

PS a pepperpot grill would also have the added benefit of making the yellow photoshopped version look less like a pokemon:

Someone already did that mockup. It's so so.

At the end of the day, I like the car and think it looks good, but I don't think anyone would deny that it would look better if the front grill aperture wasn't quite so gaping and smiley. It'd be so easy for them to take on that feedback and change it for the production models. It's just a plastic moulding.

Oh, and bring back an option for updated shadow chrome Spiders. They're about the only common TVR styling theme that there's ever been.

I like it.. why does it have to aggressive.
Why can't it be big and smiling and having fun...

i.e. Les Edgar's expression when the back end twitched in the GMD car park (TC was OFF)

There are new - and better - pics on the homepage https://www.tvr.co.uk/!

Inparticular a front-side view of the air intake which shows the profile and is anything else but "friendly". smile

Wow!
