I think you and I have different definitions of the term 'mildly' laugh
You're not alone, "Tis but a scratch!"

This was to be the final roll of the dice for the previous incarnation of TVR.. I wonder how this would have gone down if it had become reality.

It looks a bit like a Griffith/sagaris hybrid.

It’s ok.. if you drew a line across at the top and the bottom of the light housing.. it’s almost Porsche RSK like.

Whatever flak the new Griff gets, this wouldn't have worked either. An uninspired no-risk approach. What year is that from ?

It seems more like a mix between T350 and Tamora for the front with Sagaris body, no? Don't see evil every where :-)

Yes it’s like all the t cars merged together.

I think it looks fantastic. Infinitely better than the new car.

The article says it was done by David Martin, who went from TVR to Surface & Design.

Good spot, didn’t see that along the bottom. Case closed.

Interestingly no one commented on its choice of engine.....coffeecoffeecoffee...just majored on the fact it was a Sag lookalike...

Apparently the Ford V8 is better (a bit more modern) and the Chevy cheaper. That's what a guy who is doing transplant of LS into TVR bodies told me this WE.

Plus the Chevy is a cross plane crank so the wonderful V8 wooffle is the sound track. getmecoat

Only the Voodoo version of the Ford V8 a flat plane crank and they keep it for their highest specs Mustang.
If the new Griffith would had such an engine, with the side exhaust, it would have sounded like a 4 cylinders car.

The one thing you can’t change with the new Griff is the size. It’s in the same size bracket as the TT, Z4, 370Z, Boxter, GT86, SLC. Why not make it that bit bigger and put it up against the F Type, 911, Corvette, AMG GT, Vantage. More desirable and a much better market. I just can’t see it as a poster car.
Poor successor to the Sagaris which had the looks if not the size. The new Griff has neither. Unfortunate.
