Not to the best of my knowledge other than owning an older one. Don't know what financial involvement there was, but he was involved.

Best solution is to simply imagine that you placed your deposit via a dealer and then you can imagine all the lies they would be making up each month to keep you happy as they wouldn’t be getting anything from the manufacturer either.
TVRs main issue at this point is that they don’t have the network of dealers who during this phase would be busy tromboning the waiting clients with glorious fabrications.
So true!TVRs main issue at this point is that they don’t have the network of dealers who during this phase would be busy tromboning the waiting clients with glorious fabrications.
Unless the purchase price is less than £100 I think

I wish the new venture well but if this was any other start up I feel people would have laughed them off a long time ago.

That's my understanding as well. I'm very risk averse and alarm bells rang for me when it was first stated deposits would not be protected under escrow. In fact I seem to recall TVR starting that if people wanted a guarantee they should pay by c/c???

I remember this discussion from a few months ago and someone has brought up this "implied" credit-card insurance before, but i don't think it was TVR ?I wish the new venture well but if this was any other start up I feel people would have laughed them off a long time ago.
I am risk-averse, too, but decided it would be a loss i a) could take and b) that had a low probability. Surely they spent much more than the measly deposits already, so relying on deposits would have been a non-starter anyway.
Well, that told me!
I only have Chartered Institute of Banking Law module knowledge to go on, but I am not worried at all. More fool me perhaps. Les, if you are listening, make sure the car is worth the 90K by a mile because I have faith in you. If it doesn't happen, how much do you want for the red one with the fixed rear wing and the fish eyes?
PS: If vauxhall and ford can make great looking DRLs, not to mention the cool citroens/bms and audis, why have we just got a tube light to look at? Or will they be ultraviolet so the bugs can be attracted to them instead of the front grill?

Clearly my eye for detail is far supreme to yours, or perhaps you just recognise basic shapes.
ooh, some more of your superior know it all drivel. Shame there isn't a way I can block your pointless negative postsPerhaps you haven't quite grasped the idea that 'looking similar in a few places', is different to 'detailed', in your desperation to be an arse about everything.

Not to the best of my knowledge other than owning an older one. Michael Cane and his GTC Motorsport team have begun preparations for Le Mans 2002 with Aston Martin. Aston's engineers are now working on a three-month feasibility study commissioned by long-standing customer, computer millionaire Les Edgar who has retained the services of Britain's Chris Goodwin to advise and participate in the project. There is no guarantee, however, that Aston Martin will actually support a Le Mans bid, or the development of a production model for GT racing.

Oh yeah I grasp it.. “looks similar” .. yep lots of things look similar to the new tvr if you squint. Ferrari 612, z4, a T350 the list is endless. Perhaps you haven't quite grasped the idea that 'looking similar in a few places', is different to 'detailed', in your desperation to be an arse about everything.
That Vulcan no. And the link to Edgar is tenuous as it wasn’t related to design.
As for blocking I suggest you hold the power button in on your phone, the screen should go dark and you won’t see naughty realistic posts.

You're right, (for once) I could turn phone off, and not see any sensible posts. but that's a bit drastic missing out on all them just to stop your nonsense. Besides, before I get dragged down to your level, I feel I've already spent way too much of my life conversing with you, its all wasted time I wont get back sadly. That Vulcan no. Was watching a 'grand tour' last night. The one with a 1.8m AM Vulcan. Seem to remember Mr Edgar was something to do with AM?
Is the Griffith a budget road legal Vulcan? Certainly looks similar in a few places. I know lots of cars look similar nowadays, but sort the front more badass like this, and we have working mans Vulcan
Sorry Tango, other than being GT cars and a similar colour there is no similarity. And that's not me siding with anyone on your argument just me being factual. Right, if you girls have stopped trading insults I'll post this again

I know there is a eminent on here that would love this project to fail just so they could say I told you so but what they forget is the people who have embarked on this project are not starry eyed dreamers, they are highly successful business and engineering people who are putting there considerable reputations on the line, if you are hoping for failure I'm afraid you are going to be disappointed.
