Aren't we forgetting that Wedges had pop-ups, and a lot of them (including mine) worked just fine. Would be rubbish on the new Griff though. Saw this on Monday in the New Forest as an example how Ferrari do front-end restyling in real time, maybe LE could put in a bid for the salvaged grille and just photoshop out the equine nonsense....

Moving on from the gape or teeth debate, I find that the bonnet would look much better with a curve rather than a block power bulge. At risk of playing the nostalgia card, curves were part of what made the 90’s / noughties TVRs standout special (along with interior design, leather, milled controls etc). Overall, the design and concept of the new Griffith is at least novel, which will surely appeal to some who are bored with ‘same as’.

Mind I followed a black FF up towards Beaulie Rd last week in me RR .. got bored with his lack of pace n frightened him..maybe the same driver (((((soooorrrreeee)))). Was goin that slooow I coulda overtook him on me push~bike..

Irony is it was about 200 yards from the Ferrari dealership in Lyndhurst on the road to Beaulieu. Wonder if it was a test drive and if so what the insurance says?

To all those cheerleading fanboys in this thread, take off those rose tinted glasses and go and re-watch the reveal video. The stunned silent reaction from the onlookers says it all: they were expecting something crazy looking to rival the looks of the Sagaris, but instead there’s been some kind of mixup, someone has put the wrong car there. A second later and the onlookers spot the TVR badge, realise it is the new car, and then go into cheerleading mode.
I want TVR to succeed, but this is a missed opportunity.

This was Goodwood Revival and i guess most of the crowd wasn't even there for the TVR specifically. What'd you expect ? 5 minute standing ovations ?

I was at revolutionary val, and when it was revealed most people couldn’t actually see it, straightaway, curtains went up, those only at the front got a good look.
