So anyone going to share the details?.

If you can spec one up to look like the white one, I will sell my Cerbera and a kidney to get one.

Maybe a bit like Brexit, it’s what’s on offer or nothing.

Sounds like most people want the extreme end of the scale. I went the other way with more GT type spec since for me I want it to be a daily (or close).

I added a request to have exhaust valves for example. I dont know what the usual PH crew of whiners are bleating about I think it sounds epic at full volume but I'd love to be able to have a quiet mode for the morning or sitting in traffic or if I have a headache after work. Call me a wuss if you will but I remember having my brain turned into liquid driving home across London in my T350 when I had a headache after dealing with buffoons all day at work. It wouldn't get pressed very much but it would let me use it the maximum time possible.

Also went for fancy leather and heated seats and so on. Not a fan of the speed twelve looking bonnet either.

That said I did say wide arches and supercharger so I haven't completely turned into a jelly. I was taking the pee with my request for isofix!

I really hope they offer 3 different launch versions otherwise they are just going to say the depositers were all over the place, so we know best and didn't change anything.

ROAD
TRACK
EXTREME
(all with wide body options)

I'm sure they have enough time to create the packages!

I don’t get this at all as TVR are having difficulty getting one version progressed let alone a Mad Max or a Driving Miss Daisy option.
It’s just getting hopes up, more pressure on TVR to redesign, and taking the eye off the critical path of getting production going
??

There was also a hint of an ‘industry unique’ configuration process.....scratchchinscratchchinscratchchin

The way I read it is that this is about options that may be made available later on and that the spec of the LE cars is fixed. I dont think they are proposing to make vastly different versions at the start. I think this is about canvassing opinion for the future, rather than a promise to make every possible thing available. Theres nothing wrong with asking your customers what they like, better that than ignoring them.

Hmmm..
The spec is ‘fixed’ for sure
BUT I don’t think the final design is.
I’m pretty sure they’re canvassing opinion to get the ‘final look’ spot on...visually from the outside.

I haven’t heard anyone say that they don’t want the wider arches. Thus to my mind the LE absolutely has to be delivered as such...c/w splitters.

Options thereafter
Fixed or retractable wing
Comfort pack (seats etc)
Sport pack (fat wheels, more aggressive splitter / diffuser)
Race pack (as above plus bonnet vents, lightweight wheels, carbon seats etc)

I actually requested exhaust valves also, would be somewhat useful when I don't want to make quite so much noise, like when leaving at 5am in the morning!

I was happy for fancy leather and stereo and such, I'm not as keen on loads of body kits and engine tuning. I mean, it probably won't need more power and honestly I don't want to have to spend another x thousand because there are "must have" power upgrades that just aren't needed, when you have 500bhp on tap on a light chassis anyway.

I also put switchable exhaust as a desired option. That is to switch from loud to very loud!!

Trust me when I say this (and I've sat in the passenger seat of the thing whilst it was being revved!). it is Very Loud! From memory I reckon just as loud as my Tuscan.

Did anybody else tick the "Traditional TVR spider wheel design" option? I Don't have the photoshop skills to see what that would look like but it sounds right to me. Should add a bit more TVR to the design.

Not me, I think they look very dated and wouldn't suit the car. They look OK on a T350, Tuscan etc... but even then, not special imo.

Not seen the questionnaire for obvious reasons but has anyone stopped to ponder the fact that they may make a case for delaying actually building a car due to ‘overwhelming customer demand’ for this change and that change, that then needs to be added to what was a fairly ‘final’ design?

It’s not like they’ll just rivet on a few Mk2 Escort Forest Stage arches or slap any old supercharger under the bonnet is there? These things take time to sort - have you inadvertently given them the green light to delay delivery by another couple of years?

I put that as zero.. need to look modern, not a throwback, imho (and yes. I own a TVR with 18 inch spiders)

Have deposit holders been sworn to secrecy or something?

Any reason why the questionnaire hasn't been posted on here?

Be interesting to see it.
